Shieling Crafts (also known as The Two S's)

From Milk Churns to Miniatures

On this site, you will find canal ware and folk art hand-painted by Sheila Hopkins - an Accredited Waterways Guild Artist specialising in gift ware at Journeyman level. Until recently, Sheila had a thriving business in a Craft Village near Swindon, but will now be working from home. She regularly appears at Craft Fayres where she enjoys demonstrating. She has had many years experience and specialises in commissions - particularly giving Clients' own cherished items a new lease of life. Sheila is extremely versatile and the range of her work extends from full size milk churns to tiny one twelfth size dolls' house miniatures. Her unofficial motto is: 'If it stands still for long enough, it is likely to be painted!' Her work can also be seen and purchased at a permanent craft exhibition in St. Peter's Church, Marlborough, Wiltshire.
